Since joining the automotive sector more than a decade ago, I have seen a number of women take leadership roles historically held only by men. The WiMIA helps not only celebrate those women who have achieved but bring attention to those women who are in the midst of achieving great things in their careers. The more visibility and attention that can be brought to the great things women have done, the better recognition all women will receive and the closer we will come to parity in the sector.
