The BVRLA represents over 1,000 companies engaged in vehicle rental, leasing and fleet management. Our membership is responsible for a combined fleet of 4.3 million cars, vans and trucks – one-in-ten cars, one-in-six vans, one-in-six trucks and two-in-five EVs, on UK roads.

As the collective voice of the demand-side of the automotive sector, the BVRLA works with members, policymakers, and regulators to ensure road transport delivers broad economic, environmental and social value. Members follow mandatory Codes of Conduct, backed by an inspection regime and government-approved dispute resolution service. This ensures high standards, professionalism, and customer reassurance.
