Susan’s journey with the Commercial Vehicle Show began in 2000 when she joined the sales and marketing team behind the launch of the event for the SOE, RHA and SMMT. What started as a new opportunity quickly became a passion, sparking a decades-long commitment to bringing the UK’s leading road transport show to life.

When the show was brought in-house by the SOE in 2014, Susan was the obvious choice to join the team. Her deep event knowledge, can-do attitude and natural instinct for organisation made her an invaluable force behind the scenes. Over the years she has led operational planning, kept exhibitors on track and ensured every edition of the show runs like clockwork.

For more than twenty-five years, Susan has been one of the driving forces behind the CV Show’s success. Known for her meticulous attention to detail, calm under pressure and knack for solving problems before anyone even notices them, she has helped cement the show’s reputation as a must-attend event for the entire road transport sector.

In 2025, when Nineteen Group acquired the CV Show, Susan transferred across as Event & Operations Manager. She continues to bring her energy, experience and enthusiasm to every project, delivering a standout show experience for exhibitors, partners and visitors year after year.
